Editorial policy

How PeptideCheck chooses sources, grades evidence, writes and reviews pages, and corrects mistakes.

Last updated: October 18, 2026

Purpose

PeptideCheck is a compound-first protocol reference for research peptides. It summarises published research and community reports so that readers can see what is known, how well it is supported, and how to work out reconstitution and storage figures.

Authorship and review

Human-researched and AI-assisted with full editorial review. Pages are researched by Sam, MBA, Founder & Lead Researcher, with the help of AI tools for gathering and drafting. Every protocol page is reviewed and edited by Sam before it is published, and shows the author and its last reviewed date. See About.

AI output is never published as written: each figure is checked against the cited source before the page goes live.

Sources

Every number on a protocol page is tied to a citation. A figure without a source is not published; where no source supports a value, the field stays empty.

Sources we use

Sources we do not use

Evidence grades A to E

Each range, schedule or storage figure carries one grade, shown beside it.

Community-reported label

When no published human dose-finding trial exists, a page may show a range reported by the community. It is always shown with a public source link and the label “Community-reported, not clinically validated”, graded E, and a note that no published human trial exists where that is true. Animal data is shown separately and is never presented as a human figure.

Citations on every number

Doses, frequencies, durations, cycle lengths, storage times and side-effect statements each link to their source in the references of the page. If you cannot find the source of a figure, tell us and we will either add it or remove the figure.

Calculators

Each calculator runs the same formula on the server and in the browser, and both are tested against a shared set of worked examples. Calculators do arithmetic on the numbers you enter; they do not recommend an amount.

Batch certificates (COAs)

The COA library lists certificates of analysis published for Pepcore batches, with the laboratory, purity, batch number and a link to the PDF. A certificate describes one batch and is not an endorsement. A certificate submitted by a visitor is stored as unverified and is not shown until an administrator compares its details.

Client disclosure

PeptideCheck has a commercial relationship with Pepcore and may earn a commission on Pepcore links. Pepcore links are tracked and marked as sponsored. Our policy is that Pepcore does not edit or approve page content. The full text is in the disclosure.

Updates and corrections

Every page shows a last reviewed date, and a page is reviewed again when a new source or a change in a source is found. Changes to the site are recorded in the changelog.

Report an error or a missing citation: info@peptideprotocolcheck.com. We acknowledge corrections, fix confirmed errors and update the page’s reviewed date.
