What PeptideCheck collects, why, how long it is kept and how to reach us.

Last updated: October 18, 2026

Who is responsible

The site is operated by [Owner to add: operator name or business entity], based in [Owner to add: country]. Contact: info@peptideprotocolcheck.com.

What the site collects

The site collects only what a feature needs:

  • Price-alert emails (if the alert form is shown): your email address, the compound and vial size you chose, and a salted hash of your IP address. You confirm by email before anything is sent.
  • COA submissions: the lot or report number, vendor, compound, laboratory, report link, purity and test date you enter. No name or email is asked for. A submission is stored as unverified and is not shown until an administrator checks it.
  • API keys (issued by an administrator on request, there is no sign-up form): the email address and the label you give when you ask for a key, a keyed hash of the key and the time it was last used. The key itself is shown once and is not stored.
  • Salted IP hashes: used to limit how often a form, a game or the API can be used, and stored with outbound-link clicks. The hash is an HMAC-SHA-256 made with a secret key of the site, and the raw address is not stored.
  • Outbound link clicks (Pepcore links): the link, the page it came from, the compound, the time, and salted hashes of the IP address and the browser user agent.
  • Game scores: three letters of initials you choose, your score, a round identifier and a salted IP hash.
  • Saved plans: if you create a share link for a calculator plan, its inputs and a salted IP hash.
  • Server logs: the web host records each request (IP address, time, address requested, browser) as part of running the service.

Cookies and local storage

The PeptideCheck plugin does not set any cookies. WordPress itself sets cookies only for people who sign in to the administration area. Peptide Daily keeps your guess history in your browser’s local storage on your device, and it is not sent to us. Calculator values are kept in the page address so a link can be shared.

Third parties

When you follow a Pepcore link you leave PeptideCheck and Pepcore’s own privacy policy applies. PeptideCheck does not pass your name or email to Pepcore; the link carries campaign tags that identify this site as the source. Alert emails are sent through the site’s mail service. No analytics tool is installed at the time of writing; if one is added, it will be named on this page before it starts.

How long data is kept

  • Outbound-link click rows: deleted after 180 days.
  • Game scores: deleted after 400 days.
  • Saved plan share links: expire after 180 days.
  • Price-alert addresses you have not confirmed: deleted after 14 days (the confirmation link works for 7 days). Confirmed alerts are kept until you unsubscribe, using the link in every alert email.
  • COA submissions: kept until an administrator verifies or deletes them.
  • API keys: kept while the key is active. To have a key revoked, or to ask what is held about it, write to info@peptideprotocolcheck.com.
  • Server logs: kept by the hosting provider on its own schedule.

Your choices

You can ask what is held about you, or ask for it to be corrected or deleted, by writing to info@peptideprotocolcheck.com. Depending on where you live (for example under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the EU or UK GDPR, or California law) you may have additional rights, and we will respect them.
