How to use this calculator
- Choose a compound or type sizes. Pick a compound to use its catalogue sizes, or type the vial sizes in mg separated by commas.
- Enter the amount, frequency and length. Type the amount per administration in mcg, the administrations per week and the cycle length in weeks, or use a cited option.
- Add prices if you have them. Partner catalogue prices appear where the partner sells a size; type your own prices to replace them.
- Read the vials and the cost. The table shows the vials needed for each size, the material left over and the total cost.
Questions
How are the vials needed worked out?
The total material is the amount per administration times the administrations per week times the weeks. Divide it by the vial size and round up to a whole vial; the material left in the last vial is shown too.
Where do the prices come from?
Prices shown as links are the partner catalogue prices for the compound and size, with the commission disclosure under the table. A price you type replaces them. A size with no price shows no cost.
Does the calculator choose a cycle length?
No. You enter the weeks, or use a cited cycle or cited option, which shows its source and evidence grade. A starting value that is not cited is labelled "Calculator example, not a recommended amount".
Is this calculator medical advice?
No. It does arithmetic on figures you enter or on cited figures shown with their source and evidence grade. It is an educational tool, not medical advice and not a recommendation. The compounds covered here are research materials, not approved drugs.
