IGF-1 LR3 Units Chart (1 mg vial)

Worked example
For 1 mg of IGF-1 LR3, the chart row for 2 mL shows 0.5 mg/mL: 250 mcg is 50 units and 500 mcg is 100 units. The 5 mL row drops the concentration to 0.2 mg/mL and moves 250 mcg to 125 units.

How it works

Each cell is units = target amount in mg / concentration x 100, where concentration = vial mass / water volume. For 1 mg in 2 mL the concentration is 0.5 mg/mL, so a 250 mcg example amount is 0.25 / 0.5 x 100 = 50 units.

Frequently asked questions

What does a 250 mcg example amount of IGF-1 LR3 read on a U-100 syringe for a 1 mg vial?

It depends on the water volume: 25 units with 1 mL, 50 with 2 mL, 75 with 3 mL and 125 with 5 mL in a 1 mg vial.

Why do the chart rows differ for the same 1 mg of IGF-1 LR3?

More water lowers the concentration, from 1 mg/mL at 1 mL to 0.2 mg/mL at 5 mL, so the same target amount occupies more volume and reads more units.

How many mcg of IGF-1 LR3 does one syringe unit hold in this vial?

One unit is 0.01 mL. At 0.5 mg/mL (the 2 mL row) one unit holds 5 mcg of IGF-1 LR3.
