Pinealon Units Chart (20 mg vial)
Worked example
For 20 mg of Pinealon, the chart row for 2 mL shows 10 mg/mL: 250 mcg is 2.5 units and 500 mcg is 5 units. The 5 mL row drops the concentration to 4 mg/mL and moves 250 mcg to 6.25 units.

How it works
Each cell is units = target amount in mg / concentration x 100, where concentration = vial mass / water volume. For 20 mg in 2 mL the concentration is 10 mg/mL, so a 250 mcg example amount is 0.25 / 10 x 100 = 2.5 units.
Frequently asked questions
What does a 250 mcg example amount of Pinealon read on a U-100 syringe for a 20 mg vial?
It depends on the water volume: 1.25 units with 1 mL, 2.5 with 2 mL, 3.75 with 3 mL and 6.25 with 5 mL in a 20 mg vial.
Why do the chart rows differ for the same 20 mg of Pinealon?
More water lowers the concentration, from 20 mg/mL at 1 mL to 4 mg/mL at 5 mL, so the same target amount occupies more volume and reads more units.
How many mcg of Pinealon does one syringe unit hold in this vial?
One unit is 0.01 mL. At 10 mg/mL (the 2 mL row) one unit holds 100 mcg of Pinealon.
